We need to seek God in the good times the way that we seek Him in the hard times.
I wrote that last night and then read the following verse this morning:
Why do you boast in the valleys,
Your flowing valley, O backsliding daughter?
Who trusted in her treasures, saying,
'Who will come against me?'
-Jeremiah 49:4

- I used to think that God was mean and cruel. I tried to follow all the rules and be "good." Hey, when I was a kid I even tried to follow the Old Testament Laws (before I decided that God was mean and cruel). I had read/heard that the greatest commandments were to love God and people. But I hated God and people. Or at least I thought that I did, until God showed me the HE IS LOVE. The decision to LOVE CHANGED MY WORLD FOREVER.
